D-E Fans and Friends Enjoyed Two Great State Tourny Games Wednesday Night

Go Bulldogs!  D-E fans and friends enjoyed two great State Tourny games Wednesday night in Modell's Sports Complex:

The Boys' Varsity Basketball team played a strong game against Oratory Prep (see photos 2-5 in Album located at right) and advanced to the State Sectional Quarterfinal vs. Hawthorne Christian.  The game is tomorrow evening, Friday, March 1, at 7:00, and will be a rematch of last year's quarterfinal where the Bulldogs prevailed by 2 points.  The two teams met just last week in a regular season contest in which the Bulldogs prevailed again in overtime.  This will be the last Home contest of the season, and the last home game for D-E senior players Keith Selvin, Keion Osbourne, Eric Mourkakos,Austin James, Robbie Zeller, Adam Berman and Cole Thea.

Earlier last night the Lady Bulldogs put up quite a fight against a very talented Saddle River Day team and really played sensational basketball going into halftime only 3 points down.  Athletic Director Eli Goldberger reported: "Eventually, the depth and pressure of a very strong Saddle River Day squad wore us down but, it was inspiring to see our Lady Bulldogs compete as hard as they did. Hats off to Coach Moore and the Lady Bulldogs on a fantastic season!  Thank you to our senior players Haley, Zoe, Sasha, Alex, and Allison on a wonderful four years!"  (See photo 1 above, taken during last week's "Senior Night").

Tonight is going to be an exciting contest! Let's see if we can all pack the gym and put our BULLDOG PRIDE on display. Win or lose, this will be the last Home contest of the season....and the last home game ever for our 7 seniors (Keith Selvin, Keion Osbourne, Eric Mourkakos,Austin James, Robbie Zeller, Adam Berman and Cole Thea).

Bring a friend, a cousin, a grandparent, baby sitter!!!!

 PACK THE GYM,
 BE LOUD,
 BE PROUD,
BE A PART OF THE BULLDOG CROWD!!!!!!!
